BLS
Basic Life Support (BLS) Classroom is a traditional Instructor led course intended for healthcare providers that covers one and two rescuer CPR for adults, children, and infants. Proper use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) and Bag Valve Mask (BVM) is covered along with what to do if someone is choking. You will receive your certification the same day.
ACLS
This course is for individuals who are taking Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) course for the first time. This ACLS instructor-led course teaches the importance of preventing cardiac arrest, high-performance team, high quality CPR, acute dysrhythmias recognition and interventions, cardiac arrest interventions, ACLS medications and administration, post cardiac arrest care, stroke recognition and intervention, acute coronary syndrome (ACS) recognition and intervention.
The course includes simulated clinical scenarios that encourage active, hands-on participation through learning stations where students practice essential skills individually, as part of a team, and as the team leader.
PALS
The PALS course is designed to provide pediatric healthcare professionals with the knowledge and skills necessary to efficiently and effectively respond to emergencies in infants and children and help to improve outcomes. The course is intended for healthcare professionals such as physicians, PA, NP, nurses, paramedics/EMT, RT/RRT and other healthcare providers.
This course covers:

Recognition and treatment of infants and children at risk for cardiac arrest

The systematic approach to pediatric assessment

Effective respiratory management

Defibrillation and synchronized cardioversion

Intraosseous access and fluid bolus administration

Effective resuscitation team dynamics and other interventions.
Heart Saver CPR/AED
The AHA’s Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Course is designed for anyone with little or no medical training who needs a course completion card for their job, regulatory (e.g., OSHA), or other requirements, or anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting. This course is designed to meet the OSHA and the Texas HHS requirement for childcare workers.

BLS Skill Checklist
​This is thirty minute BLS skills check session once the online portion of HeartCode® BLS is completed. Your BLS CPR provider certification will be issued by Heart Zone after your successful completion of the in-person skills check session. Please bring your Photo I.D. and a copy of the online course completion certificate. We only recognize American Heart Association (AHA) certificates.
ACLS Skill Checklist
You will need to complete the ACLS hands-on session at Heart Zone locations once you complete the online portion of AHA HeartCode® ACLS to get certified. The skills check session takes about 30 minutes. ACLS certification will be issued by Heart Zone upon successful completion of the skills check session.

Bloodborne Pathogens teach employees how to protect themselves and others from being exposed to blood or blood-containing materials and interventions postexposure care. This course is designed to meet OSHA requirements for bloodborne pathogens training.
Bloodborne Pathogens Course is designed specifically for workers with a reasonable chance of coming into contact with bloodborne pathogens such as phlebotomists, correctional officers, childcare workers, security guards, maintenance workers, school personnel, housekeepers, health and fitness club staff, and tattoo artists.
